The Nalmaluien Kape Ramar Mene team has now launched a new initiative to support capacity building and economic opportunities for remote community areas in Tafea Province. TanKiwi Labour aims to be a part of the New Zealand and Government of Vanuatu’s Recognised Seasonal Employment Scheme. TanKiwi Labour’s mission is to present a role model agency that will lead and facilitate communities towards sustainable work participation in New Zealand to assist development and preservation of customs and culture in Tafea to benefit future generations.

 

 

Nalmaluien Kape Nalmaluien Kape Ramar Mene: Leadership for Community Development is a registered indigenous initiative working as a Non Governmental Organisation based in Tafea Province, Vanuatu. The Ramar Mene Team works in partnership with established NGOs and organisations to mobilize communities towards self help for a fair and just lifestyle, equal in opportunities for quality services in education, health, water and sanitation, communication, gender equity, and preservation of environment and culture. Our objectives are to work alongside the chiefs, tradition and government, develop a range of approaches to assist families, build commitment and community capacity and contribute to new policy and practice.
